The next Law of Attraction Q&A is out. Yippee! The topic for today’s question comes from “Lost in Thought.” She wants to know how to ask the Universe for help in knowing what actions to take.
“Lost in Thought” asks:
“Is there a way to “ask” the universe what action you should take to bring you closer to your goal? I get “nudges” all the time but all of them are accompanied with “or maybe I should wait” “or maybe I should do this…” so I usually get confused about what action I should take! I really want to take action but am unsure of which way to go when I’m presented with actions!”
My Answer
I know how frustrating this can be. Should you trust your intuition or not? Is it even your intuition? Is it your mind trying to make things happen?
But don’t worry! It’s really easy to ask the Universe for help and guidance. In fact, it’s so easy it might seem like one of those moments when you hit yourself on your head with your palm and go, “Gosh! Why didn’t I think of that?”
There’s nothing wrong if it happens to you. Many teachers over the years have tried to make the Law of Attraction seem like some hidden, mystical secret that it takes years to decipher and a lot of specialized knowledge.
That’s certainly not the case….
Whenever you want to ask the Universe for help, all you have to do is ask. Yep, that’s all there is to it.
You can say it silently in your head or shout it from the rooftop. It doesn’t matter. The Universe will hear either way.
There isn’t a special formula for asking the Universe for help or guidance. You can say something as simple as, “Universe, give me a clear sign about what action I should take.”
…or…”Universe, help me to know if I should really take this action or not. If I do “X”, will it lead me closer to manifesting my dream wilderness vacation in the forests of Endor with hundreds of Ewoks?”
Even “Universe help me to clearly know if this action is something you want me to do to manifest my hot smoking love affair, or is it something my ego is telling me to do?”
It all works.
What are some of the ways the Universe will answer your request for help and guidance?
When you ask the Universe for guidance, it will answer – always. Keep in mind it may not come in the form of a giant billboard with neon lights and flashing arrows pointing at it.
It could be a memo you see in passing on your desk…a television commercial…an overheard conversation…
If you ask for a specific sign, the Universe will give you that sign. For example, if you ask for an apple, you might receive an apple, stationary with apples on it, or something similar.
Whenever you need guidance, ask the Universe for help. It’s always there, always listening, always responding.
