Are you an empath who easily picks up the vibrations of other people and gets affected adversely? Do you get over-excited too often? Do you engage in overthinking? Do you have any foot or leg issues? Do you feel out of touch with your surroundings? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, then you might need to activate your Earth Star chakra.
The Earth Star chakra is one of the least talked about chakras and is the grounding point of our subtle body. It is believed to lie about 10-12 inches below the soles of the feet. It is an earthing or anchoring support for the rest of the chakras. So while you activate and heal your other chakras, it is equally important to activate and heal the Earth chakra because the latter acts like a buffer. So if you are an energy worker or have any excess or undesirable energy in any of the upper chakras, it will easily get released through the Earth chakra, keeping you grounded and stable. This becomes really important as you raise your vibration with regular energy healing and meditation practices, else the surplus energy may overwhelm you and set off your everyday balance. The Earth Star chakra helps to foster the feelings of connection with the Earth as well as the Universe. It keeps you aware of the three-dimensional reality making you feel safe, grounded and stable.
Activate Earth Star Chakra
It is easy to activate the Earth Star chakra with the classical Reiki symbols. You should do it as part of the everyday Reiki ritual and follow the routine steps we require for all other chakras, as follows:
- Purification with the Power symbol
- Activation or charging with the Power symbol
When you work on this chakra, do not forget to heal the Foot chakra (with the same steps as above) because the latter is an important conduit for the flow of energy from the physical body to the earth and reinforces the connection with the Earth.
Once the Earth Star chakra is activated, you might start feeling weird tingling sensations in your feet in the beginning but it is nothing to be apprehensive about. When the energy settles down, you might not feel anything abnormal because it gradually becomes a part of your body and you become accustomed to that energetic state. You will feel a greater sense of anchoring in your subtle body. This yields benefits at the physical as well as emotional level. So strengthen your Earth Star chakra because it is like an extension of the Root chakra, that is located outside the physical body.
The stronger the roots of the tree, the higher it would touch the sky. The more grounded you are, the better your spiritual awakening too. There are absolutely no limits to what all we can achieve, in the material and spiritual world with consistent purification of our chakras. So let’s begin with watering our roots and then reach out for the sky!
