Healing is a religion in itself. Healers driven by compassion learn, use, teach, and propagate various methods, modalities, and processes that can bring about healing of mind, body and soul of fellow human beings. The healing of earth, plants, animals, situations, past, present, future, and more; we send our intentions along with channeling energy to heal and spread love. On this path we come across various ways that can be used for healing self and others. In this article, I am sharing one such method which can be effectively used for full body healing for self and others. This involves sending Reiki through our Heart chakra to the whole body and mainly intends for physical healing.
The Heart chakra as we all know is the center for love and compassion. It has the highest vibrational frequency and connects our upper and lower chakras. However, here we are concentrating more on our Heart chakra as the place where our physical heart is present. Our heart pumps blood to all parts of our body and we are using blood as the medium to send Reiki to every part of our body. Simple?
Let’s begin:
- Sit or lie down in a comfortable position and focus on your breath for a couple of minutes. As you feel centered, invoke Reiki and draw all the attuned symbols on third eye and palms of your hand. Cover yourself in white light. If giving Reiki to others, make symbols for the person and cover.
- Now place your hands on the Heart chakra (self or other person) and start channelizing Reiki in Heart chakra. Feel the energy flowing and immersing the heart in divine light. Stay in this position for few minutes.
- Now imagine the heart pumping blood through arteries (feel the heartbeat) and visualize blood going to all organs, systems and cells of the body through the arteries and capillaries.
- Intend that the Reiki energy that is flowing from your hands into the heart is going in the blood stream (attaching itself to red blood cells if you can imagine) and travelling with the blood to all parts of the body.
- Staring from the brain, the heart sends blood to brain through various arteries and capillaries, and Reiki is reaching brain along with the blood and divine light is filling up our brain. Reiki is flowing in the brain and all neurons, gray matter, white matter, nerves and everything is getting nourished by this energy. See it extending to spinal cord and all over the face. Our sense organs eyes, ears are receiving the Reiki energy that is coming with the blood flow to these organs.
- Then shift the attention to the lungs and respiratory system. Blood carrying Reiki is going to each and every part of the respiratory system, nose, trachea, bronchi, lungs on whole are getting immersed with the divine light of Reiki. Each and every alveoli is getting the Reiki energy. Feel the energy in whole respiratory system and then move forward.
