I love using this symbol for its protective properties. sometimes when I feel a bit drained or off I draw this symbol over my lower belly and it has an almost immediate calming effect. ITs a quick way to center and ground myself When I am a bit off balance.
The Distance Symbol (Hon sha ze sho nen)
The Distance Symbol is used to send Reiki energy over long distances. It is said to be helpful in healing relationships that have been strained or damaged, as well as in helping to resolve conflicts.
The Distance Symbol can also be used to send Reiki energy to situations or environments that are in need of healing.
You should not use this symbol when feeling a lack of Reiki in your life. It can be used to send energy over a distance, but it is not a replacement for practicing the other four symbols and learning how to channel Reiki from within.
I use this symbol to cleanse my crystals. I just visualize it over the stones and they are refreshed.
Distance symbol is used to send Reiki energy to places, healed people, animals, or objects, where your hands physically can’t reach!
The distance can be 1-foot away or 1000 miles away etc. If you have a partner who lives in another city or country, you can use this symbol to send Reiki energy between you. It gives the possibility to heal at any distance, I really love this symbol!
