If you are trying to protect yourself you can draw the symbol on your body, front and back, to protect yourself during all reiki work as well as once you are finished.
If you are looking to protect a home or another building you can draw the symbol on windows, doors, walls, ceilings, and floors.
Balance
You can use the power symbol to balance and cleanse your chakras. You can also use this symbol anytime you are working with energy and you feel off-balanced or not quite right to find balance and harmony again.
Cleansing
You can also use this symbol for the purpose of cleansing. For instance, you can draw it on or visualize it on things like yourself, crystals, or decks to cleanse them of all negative energies.
Sometimes it is not just the negative energies you are trying to dispel. You may need to cleanse yourself or your crystals of all foreign energies, negative or not.
