The Shiva Technique

Article by João Antão Marques

I don’t know the origins of this curious technique but I consider it a quite interesting way to send distant Reiki or also to be used in an in-person treatment if the need arises.

In the case of distant Reiki, use together with the “Portal of Distance Technique” (in this case you only need symbols 2 and 1).

The problem with this Shiva Technique is that great focus is needed as well as a very strong visualization capacity which, I agree, is very often not so easy to reach. As in normal conditions, we need an average of fifty minutes for a complete treatment (ten positions with five minutes in each position for instance), one way to reduce the time needed for treatment is to visualize several arms, like the statues of Lord Shiva or Gayatri Goddess, in order to allow all Reiki positions to be made simultaneously.

The Shiva Technique

  • Clean room;
  • Clean yourself (use Kenyoku);
  • Activate Hands;
  • Protect yourself;
  • Make your invocations as usual;
  • Draw symbols 3, 2 and 1, in that sequence, repeating their name thrice and channel the energy;
  • If you are attuned to the DKM (Usui) you can also use it after symbol 1.

You have to be very focused on what you are doing.
