Oracle cards are one of my favourite support tools when it comes to providing a holistic approach to healing. Oracle cards provide us with a means to access our soul and receive messages from our higher selves.
Using oracle cards is an intuitive process and is guided by our intention. Intention is also what directs the flow of healing energy to where it is needed through the application of Reiki healing. Therefore, using oracle cards for an intuitive reading for a client prior to the Reiki healing session often provides clarity on setting the intention for the healing session itself.
Using oracle cards for an intuitive card reading is a specific way to gain otherwise hidden information through the use of heightened perceptive, intuitive and empathetic abilities to give you clarity and inspiration for any aspect of your life. It is a beautiful way of accessing the Divine for guidance and insight.
We are often faced with pressing issues, choices and questions in our lives, not knowing which way to go, what choices to make or how to proceed. Our guides and spirit guides are ever-present, providing clarity, guidance and insight. An intuitive card reading provides the bridge between us and our guides to channel their messages and guidance to us. An intuitive card reading can assist us in tapping into our existing but hidden and forgotten inner knowing, knowledge and wisdom to help us reach our fullest potential.
Doing an intuitive card reading prior to or as part of a Reiki healing session does not need to be an elaborate process. Often, a one-card draw with the intent to find and/or confirm the intention of the Reiki healing session is more than sufficient.
A three-card draw or layout, for example, can be used to focus our intention for a healing session on:
- What do I need to heal in my body, my mind and my spirit?
- What do I need to heal and let go of from my past, what in the present needs attention and what do I focus on for my future?
An intuitive card reading is wonderful if….
- You want to feel supported, understood and reassured – whether you have questions about your career, relationships or life purpose.
- You want to move away from fear and into a place of empowerment.
- You want to understand what is happening in your relationships.
- You want to feel confident about making an important decision you are faced with.
- You want to be open to seeing the big picture of your life from a new, uplifting perspective.
There are many ways in which to use and incorporate an intuitive card reading into the Reiki healing session. It could be for your own preparation before seeing a specific client or it could be to provide a client with insight and guidance. It could also be done at the end of a Reiki healing session as guidance for going forward. No matter how, when, where or what you use intuitive card reading for, be guided by your intuition!
