Money is a made up concept; a bit like time, we all use it but it doesn’t exist in the way we think it does.
You only appreciate what you pay for is a lie; you appreciate what you value and understand. Some of the most precious things are priceless and can’t be bought.
Money doesn’t corrupt people; like power money attracts people who are susceptible to corruption.
Money is an enabler; it brings freedom to express our true nature. Poverty suppresses and wealth frees the genie from the lamp.
Money can’t guarantee happiness or good taste in the way we spend it, but neither does poverty. Wealth provides options not available to the poor.
Poverty and hardship often motivate crime, but greed will always pollute and destroy what it touches.
Money can create style over substance; in people and possessions.
Money’s value decreases in relation to the amount available to us; the more we have the less we value and appreciate its true worth.
The love of money has never been the root of all evil; mankind’s love affair with greed, power and control are the real culprits. Money is just a means to an end.
Money as a resource is only as good as the good it brings into the world.
A righteous person can be rich or poor; their spirituality is defined by their heart and mind and not by circumstances. It’s what we do with what we have that defines who and what we are.
If your self worth and self esteem is defined by money you have made yourself a victim of your own success and a prisoner to your own failure.
A price on your help and kindness is business; without compassion we can restrict the poor and penalise the rich for no other reason the poor can’t afford you and the wealthy can afford to pay more.
A fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work is totally acceptable; but what is enough for one person is never enough for those whose wants far exceed their needs.
Wealth and prosperity come in many forms and in many ways money has the least worth for no other reason can’t buy the things we value and consider priceless.
