What can be better on Valentine’s Day then spending it with the person you love. Either you have some big plans, or just a quiet romantic dinner at home, there are some little details that can make this day special.
Setting up the mood is really effective by putting a favorite music, opening a nice bottle of wine and of course diffusing essential oils on a background. From personal experience I would suggest to use at least one of the oils which are known to be an aphrodisiac. They are proven by time to increase the sense of romance. As long as the aroma is not overwhelming and is pleasant for both partners it will work its magic.
I have done my homework, and prearranged some blends for diffuser and set some oils aside for my massage oils.
Here are some of my favorite diffuser blends, use it alone or use it as an idea for creating your own blends.
Seductive Blend
- Rose – 3 drops
- Jasmine – 2 drops
- Black Pepper – 1 drop
Sensual Blend
- Neroli – 2 drops
- Rose – 2 drops
- Ylang Ylang – 1 drop
Playful Blend
- Neroli – 2 drops
- Orange – 3 drops
- Jasmine – 2 drops
Temptation Blend
- Yalng Ylang – 2 drops
- Coriander – 2 drops
- Nutmeg – 1 drop
- Bergamot – 1 drop
I tend not to use sicker oils in my diffuser, but I do love to use them a lot in roll-ons or massage and body oil blends. Here are some of my favorite essential oils for massage oils
For him
- Sandalwood – 6 drops
- Patchouli – 6 drops
- Clove – 3 drop
- 30 ml carrier oil
- Sandalwood – 6 drops
- Bergamot – 5 drops
- Cypress – 7 drops
- 30 ml carrier oil
- Patchouli – 4 drops
- Cedarwood – 4 drops
- Ginger – 2 drops
- Coriander – 3 drops
- Bergamot – 4 drops
- 30 ml carrier oil
For her
- Vetiver – 5 drops
- Rose – 6 drops
- Jasmine – 3 drops
- 30 ml carrier oil
- Patchouli – 5 drops
- Coriander – 3 drop
- Ylang Ylang – 3 drop
- Black Papper -3 drop
- 30 ml carrier oil
- Patchouli – 3 drops
- Jasmine – 3 drops
- Clary Sage – 2 drops
- Geranium – 2 drops
- Orange – 5 drops
- 30 ml carrier oil
The most important note I’d say here, stay creative and use your imagination.
